At first I was really scared about this activity. My older cousin had already done it for a year and he bugged me that I should go in too. He showed this video to me, and at first I wasn't totally convinced. I should clarify that I love doing sports and I am always open for new begginings. Then a Crossfit box opened near my house, so I didn't have any excuse for not going. Last summer I decided I would start. The first day I felt really nervous, but my coach encouraged me all through out the training. When it was over I was all sweaty and I had never seen my face more red! It was embarassing! But with the pass of time I got better in every WOD. I started lifting more weight and my body was more strong for any dayli activity. After 2 months I realized Crossfit is not just a place to train... it is a community. And here you can enjoy workingout with people that love the same things you do, and that also hate burpees.
My life changed in every way! Now I feel more confident about myself and I bet many people that started scared about this activity ended found here a new home.

What is it?
If you don't know about Crossfit it is a very effective way to work out your body. It uses a variation of excercises during an hour. The hour divides in 3 main parts, the first is warm-up. As the word sais itself you prepare your body for the rest of the excercises. Then the worst, best, and longest part of the training: the WOD. WOD stands for "workout of the day" and it is here where you test yourself and get to your limits. You get a different WOD every training, that covers cardio, gymnastics, and weight lifting. Finally, after you get really tired and you feel that all your muscles are sore you strech. Streching always depends on the WOD and what muscles you used that day. If this doesn't sound good enough you should try it! It doesn't matter how old are you or how much excercise you have done in your life. All that counts is your commitment to go to every training and eat a good diet. I promise you will feel different and the effects will be noticed!
